About This Series
This course provides learners with the essential knowledge needed to understand and implement evidence-based practices in Supported Education. We will explore the definition and history of Supported Education, discuss the rationale behind this service modality, and provide an overview of its core services. Additionally, you will engage in the practical application of Supported Education through the story of Aditi.
We will examine the Choose-Get-Keep-Leave framework, a crucial component for developing Supported Education services. Each phase of this framework will be thoroughly analyzed, along with the various services designed to assist students in progressing from selecting an educational program to gaining admission, maintaining enrollment, and ultimately achieving their educational goals.
The modules are structured to build the contextual knowledge and framework necessary for understanding the delivery of Supported Education services, as well as strategies for effectively integrating them into your existing programs.
