Decision-Making Guide

This Data-Based Decision-Making Guide assists school-based professionals in using data to make decisions related to identifying student participants, ensure fidelity, monitor student progress, and evaluate students’ outcomes. It is intended to be used by the multidisciplinary team tasked with overseeing Tier 2 mental and behavioral health interventions within a multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) framework.

This resource provides guidance for school-based professionals in the implementation of the POWER Program in their schools. It provides detailed instructions for preparation, execution, and follow-up for each group meeting, as well as meeting checklists to track program fidelity.

Individual Coaching Resources

While many students will adequately engage with and learn from the material during the group meetings alone, some may benefit from individual support following each meeting. To support these students, utilize the POWER Program Coaching step and the Daily Emotion Monitoring Log to guide individual meetings.

Adherence Checklist
